DIY, easy, simple Holiday decorations for your room
So, the holidays are coming up right around the corner, and you are too lazy (or you don't have money) to buy Christmas decorations (or other holidays), although you really want to spice up those plain walls. Here are some really, really simple holiday decorations. Some are for Christmas, Valentine's Day (hey, it's never too early to decorate), and just winter-ish (I know it's not a real word) looking decorations.
1. Merry Christmas letters:
Things you'll need to make it
-scissors
-any kind of paper you want to use (for the color of the font, i choose red)
-scotch blue painter's tape (this tape does not take off the paint on your walls)
-pencil, sharpie, printer, ink, computer (all optional depending on what you want to do
How to make it
1. decide on what you want the letters to say, like Merry Christmas, Merry X'mas, Happy holiday, and etc.
2. decide if you want to draw the letters yourself or print the letters out and trace it on some festive paper and cut it, or you can just print the letters out on the festive paper.
-Drawing the letters~ use a pencil to draw out the letters on the festive paper, cut them out, outline the insides of the letters with sharpie (like for O when you draw it, outline the inner little o, idk if i'm making sense here), attach the letters with tape, tape the letters however you like on your wall with the painter's tape
-Printing out the letters~take festive paper and put them in the printer on the right direction, choose some nice letters online, print them out on the festive paper, attach tape to the back, and attach the letter however you like on your wall with the painter's tape
